The New Hospital Capital Project has been established as part of the Momentum: Pathways to Healthcare Programme. It is in response to the Strategic Outline Case, jointly developed by North Tees & Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust and Hartlepool PCT and Stockton on Tees Teaching PCT.
This project will take the service redesign scoping outputs and undertake the capital planning, development and procurement through to the building and commissioning of the new hospital. The Project Director is Kevin Oxley, Director of Operations at North Tees & Hartlepool NHS Foundation Trust.
For further information, please contact the New Hospital Capital Project Team on 01642 383535
This area of work is led by NHS Stockton on Tees and NHS Hartlepool.
Following the NHS Joint Committee decision for integrated health centres to be located in central Stockton and central Billingham, urgent care services to be provided in or near to Hartlepool town centre development and extended facilities in Yarm, the PCTs will be continuing to review the range of community services currently provided and their locations to secure the best integration of services within the new community facilities.
Stakeholders and the public will have the opportunity to work with the PCTs to ensure that the best arrangements are provided to meet local needs.
We intend to provide regular updates as we get on with the work via the Momentum website.
